1 - Point du Hoc

After driving for 2 hours at the Normandy country side on your Normandy beaches tour, your first stop is at Point du Hoc. Here you’ll witness the untouched bomb caters from the D-Day landings. Climb through the various bunkers and see how the Germans strategically used the cliffs, and imagine how the American forces bravely scaled the heights to capture the battery.

2 - Lunch

When visiting the Normandy Beaches, there are several great places where you can enjoy lunch while exploring the area:

1. La Sapinière

• Location: Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, overlooking Omaha Beach.

• Highlights: Offers a stunning view of the beach, serving traditional French cuisine, seafood, and regional dishes. The terrace provides a perfect setting for a relaxing meal.

2. Brasserie La Plage

• Location: Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, close to the beach.

3. D-Day House

• Location: Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, near the Omaha Beach Museum.

3 - Omaha Beach

Continue the Normandy Beaches private tour by heading to Omaha Beach and pass through 8 kms of the coast of facing the English Channel. Ashore, you will find a sculpture called Les Braves ‘The Braves’ in honor of the soldiers who fought the war. There will be an opportunity to stop for a quick lunch near Omaha Beach.

4 - Normandy American Cemetery

End the private Normandy Beaches tour by visiting the Normandy American Cemetery to pay tribute to the fighters of the battle. The visitor center offers a detailed exhibition about the war. This will be our last stop before heading to a 2 hour drive back to the the port or your hotel.
