This was a wonderful way to see Normandy! The driver was quite adept and safe and accommodating. Our guide had a great depth of knowledge and had many thoughtful insights. He balanced nuanced descriptions with when to just let us quietly take in the enormous span of the maelstrom that was the Battle of Normandy. I'm been keenly interested in the Normandy landings my whole life, but even that preparation was nothing compared to the reality of the scale of the invasion. Communication with the tour group leading up to the day of our tour was excellent and very responsive. Normandy Private Tours was a lifesaver for us when trains from Paris to Bayeux were unexpectedly canceled. They arranged a private van transfer at the last minute, arrived right on time, and were completely professional throughout the trip. The pricing was very reasonable, and the ride itself was comfortable and stress‑free. They even drove by some of the sites slowly so we could get pictures along the way. This tour was the highlight of our month-long European vacation.  Our driver and guide went above and beyond anything we expected.  I'd give them 10 stars if I could. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding Experience! From my very first inquiry, Normandy Beach Private Tours was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Every question was answered quickly, making the entire booking process seamless and stress-free. On the day of our tour, our driver, Steve, was exceptional. He was professional, courteous, and attentive from start to finish. Not only was he a safe and efficient driver, but he was always there with a helping hand for the ladies getting in and out of the vehicle. We truly could not have asked for a better driver. And then there was our guide, Adrien. Words simply cannot express how fortunate we were to have him. My husband is a huge WWII history enthusiast, and visiting Normandy was one of the main reasons we chose this river cruise. It was going to take someone very special to make this day live up to his expectations—and Adrien exceeded every one of them. His knowledge of World War II history was extraordinary, but what made him unforgettable was his passion. History came alive through his personal stories, the historical photographs he shared, and his ability to help us truly imagine what happened on those beaches more than 80 years ago. It wasn’t just a history lesson—it was an experience we will never forget. We visited every site my husband had hoped to see, and Adrien even took us to a wonderful family-owned restaurant in the Normandy countryside for lunch. It was the perfect local touch that made the day even more memorable. Every person in our group agreed this was a 10 out of 10 experience. Our driver and guide Tibo was awesome! He gave us valuable information about Mont St Michelle and added extra suggestions to make our day wonderful. We were a little faster than most up the stairs so Tibo took us to nearby towns and we saw extra sites. He was great communicating on WhatsApp and kept us on time. We  had a wonderful day exploring Rouen and Honfleur with Normandy Tours. From the moment we were picked up, everything was well organized, comfortable, and stress-free. Our guide Guillame was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Normandy’s history and culture. We enjoyed learning about the fascinating history of Rouen while strolling through its beautiful medieval streets and admiring the stunning cathedral. The visit to Honfleur was equally delightful, with its charming harbour, colourful buildings, and relaxed atmosphere. Travelling by private vehicle allowed us to see the picturesque Norman countryside at a comfortable pace, with plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy the scenery. My husband has some mobility limitations, and our guide was exceptionally accommodating, adjusting the day so we could experience the highlights without feeling rushed.
