Your Normandy beaches tour from Le Havre begins with a scenic drive through the countryside, leading to Pointe du Hoc, a significant D-Day site. Here, you can see the bomb craters and explore the German bunkers, visualizing the intense battle as American forces scaled the cliffs. 

When visiting the Normandy Beaches, there are several great places where you can enjoy lunch while exploring the area:
1. La Sapinière
Location: Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, overlooking Omaha Beach.
Highlights: Offers a stunning view of the beach, serving traditional French cuisine, seafood, and regional dishes. The terrace provides a perfect setting for a relaxing meal.
2. Brasserie La Plage
Location: Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, close to the beach.

Afterwards, head to Omaha Beach and pass through 8 kms of the coast of facing the English Channel. Ashore, you will find a sculpture called Les Braves ‘The Braves’ in honor of the soldiers who fought the war. There will be an opportunity to stop for a quick lunch near Omaha Beach.

Next, continue the tour to the Normandy American Cemetery to pay tribute to the fighters of the battle. The visitor center offers a detailed exhibition about the war. This will be our last stop before heading to a 2 hour drive back to the the port or your hotel.
